Children’s drawings will travel through Switzerland on Postbuses
The post horn is turning 100. To celebrate this milestone, PostBus held a colouring competition. No fewer than 500 children from all parts of the country sent us their artwork. The winners will receive fantastic prizes, and their pictures will travel through Switzerland on Postbuses.

A colouring template offered the young participants a starting point for their creative ideas. It’s amazing to see what these talented children – who range from two to 12 years of age – managed to produce, colouring and gluing to their hearts’ content. 500 drawings arrived at PostBus headquarters in Bern, mostly by post. Participants from Ticino and French-speaking Switzerland were particularly well represented. All the children were winners, according to the jury, whose hands and hair were covered in glitter after the selection process. As such, the jurors decided that everyone who hadn’t won should receive a small gift.
We want the brilliant winning images to be seen by as many people as possible. For this reason, they will be displayed on the double screens in our Postbuses in the near future and will travel all over Switzerland.
Here are the winners in the three categories. In view of the large number of purchases submitted, PostBus has decided to award prizes of 1 to award prizes 1 to 3 several times. A special prize of a public transport voucher is also being awarded to the third-year class in Filisur (GR), who sent in entries from almost 20 children.

Here are the main prizes for the winners in the three age categories:
- 1st prize: your choice of four tickets to PAW PATROL in Zurich or Disney on Ice in Geneva worth CHF 400
- 2nd prize: one voucher for admission for the whole family to Circus Knie worth CHF 350
- 3rd prize: one Caran d’Ache case of PRISMALO aquarelle paints (80 colours) worth CHF 190
- 4th – 10th prize: 7 x 1 PostBus Funki school bag worth CHF 59
- 11th – 20th prize: 10 x 1 PostBus children’s shirt worth CHF 25
