The three-tone horn on postbuses is 100 years old. We want to celebrate this in 2024 – together with you! Enter one of the three exciting competitions: Competition 1 “Do the Du-Da-Do” in four categories for adults, Competition 2 The “Posthorn-Challenge” events at various locations in Switzerland, Competition 3 “Children’s Colouring Competition”.

How to participate in competition 1 “Do the Du-Da-Do”

Create entry
Produce your creative performance in one of the four categories and record it as a video, image or audio file. The condition is that the sound sequence of the post horn must be audibly recognizable or that the post horn is visible.

Participation by mail
Send us your entry by e-mail. The maximum file size is 50 MB. All common formats are permitted. For file sizes larger than 50 MB, either use a file hosting service (e.g. WeTransfer) or upload your contribution to a social media platform (e.g. YouTube) and send us the corresponding link.

Award ceremony
The winners of the three main prizes in each category (12 winners in total) will be contacted directly to inform them and invite them to receive their prize. The award ceremony will be held at the end of September at the Museum of Communication in Bern. The winning entries will be included in the museum collection insofar as this is possible from a conservatory perspective.
